Our Client Midland HR have been delivering smarter HR, payroll & finance solutions since 1984. Servicing over 1400 companies, they have a progressive outlook to their carbon reduction journey with a plan to become Carbon neutral by 2028 and net zero by 2050. With this journey at the forefront, they engaged with our parent company Stepnell group to enhance the footprint of the site wide Carbon Reduction measures at their site in Nottingham to include Britannia House.
Step Energy were appointed to install 271 375W Solfit “in roof” PV panels in keeping with the site wide strategy of “in roof” mounted PV systems.
With 3 x 40KW Inverters the 101.62kWp system is estimated to generate 90,210 kWh annually saving an estimated 17.45 tonnes of CO2 the equivalent of planting around 800 trees. The installation involved the stripping and relaying the existing roof coverings to maintain the high standards of the site.
