Our experience working alongside Step Energy has been a great example of a collaborative approach to design and project delivery, where the design team and the contractor have worked in partnership to bring the project to life developing a great working relationship.

Step Energy remained focused on maintaining our design intent and the clients vision for a project that enhances their carbon reduction journey.

Appointed as main contractor for a large package of works under our Salix Public Sector Decarbonisation Programme, the team demonstrated a constructive and creative approach in overcoming significant challenges — including the pandemic, global supply shortages, and tight funding requirements. Their flexibility, collaborative mindset, and responsive senior project management team were key to delivering critical elements of this complex project effectively.

Ridge has been in discussion with Step Energy since their conception with a view to partnering to offer clients a turnkey energy reduction service. With our design knowledge and Step Energy’s experience in available renewable technology and installation it offers a complete package to clients wishing to review their existing energy usage and options to look for meaningful reduction measures. Also, with Step Energy’s extensive knowledge and experience they have offered great assistance in assessing the needs of our clients. The proposals have been clear, concise and honest when it comes to the scale and potential benefits. They’ve been a pleasure to work with.
